specializing in reactivity and deaf dogs ā¤ļø
āI canāt say enough good things about Lauren and her knowledge of with working with dogs.
I have 2 high needs dogs with very different issues, and she has helped me address (and solve!) issues with both.
Lauren is so patient and truly listened to our issues. I highly recommend her for anyone needing help with their pup whether it be an intro to the basics or more advanced help. She knows her stuff!ā

āLauren has been instrumental in helping me to understand and work with my foster dogs. While each dog has their own unique challenges, Lauren always comes equipped with a tailored plan grounded in humane, force-free methods.
Working with Lauren has helped me to build a stronger bond with each dog and has prepared them for their next chapter outside the shelter.
She is an expert in reactivity and under socialization. I would recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a compassionate trainer who uses positive reinforcement.ā

āLauren is a lovely person and a creative, empathetic trainer. She brings real world experience from her own rescue family and is committed to using positive training techniques and finding workable solutions so dogs and their humans can live together harmoniously.
She worked with both of my dogs and was able to assess and address each oneās unique needs, from calming general social anxiety to redirecting āforever puppyā energy.
She also taught us tricks and tips that we still use, as most dog training is really people training! I recommend her for the basics as well as to find solutions for more challenging situations you might be facing with your dog. ā

ABOUT LAUREN
Hi, Iām Lauren, a certified dog trainer through The Academy for Dog Trainers.
I love working with recently adopted dogs to help them adapt to their new life and thrive with their families. I also have a soft spot for dogs who display reactive and fearful behaviors and deaf dogs.
Prior to dog training, I worked as a software engineer and volunteered at my local animal shelter.
I live in the Portland, Oregon area with my partner, human kiddo and two pups Bane Buttercup and Baloo Boo.
